ABOUT US

Our holistic approach at Kids in Motion is to facilitate the development of gross motor skills by addressing the entire child. Our therapy is evidence-based and results-driven. We believe sensory drives the motor output and are dedicated to identifying underlying sensory issues that could be impacting gross motor development. We offer therapy services in a low sensory environment with soft lighting and warm colors. Our physical therapists and physical therapy assistants are trained to facilitate posture, balance, coordination, endurance, muscle strength, and flexibility through both sensory and motor activities.

We use our professional expertise and clinical research to assess interventions with our clients to produce the most efficient and independent outcomes. Physical therapy is often recommended for children who have been injured or have movement problems from a developmental delay, illness, disease, or disability. We are dedicated to promoting efficient, independent movement across all environments, including home, school, and community. Our goal is to produce functional independence through your child’s primary occupation, which is PLAY.

Meet Amy Neeble, LPT

Serving Patients Since 2002
Amy Neeble, CEO and Founder of Kids In Motion,  holds a bachelor of science and sports medicine from the University of Virginia and a Masters of physical therapy from The Medical College of Virginia.   Amy has specialized in pediatric physical therapy for more than 24 years.  She has been in private practice since 2002 initially providing physical therapy services from birth to three in a variety of natural environmental settings.  With the desire to expand her practice, and expand services to all children, she opened Kids in Motion and is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and families.

"My passion for treating children, especially those with developmental disabilities, began over 24 years ago.  I began Kids In Motion to bring together a special group of therapist that share the same passion of delivering high quality physical therapy that makes a difference to children in their families."  Amy Neeble
