Our therapists draw from years of expertise in a variety of pediatric physical therapy approaches. Pediatric physical therapy focuses on helping children of all ages become independent with respect to strength, endurance, balance, coordination, and mobility. This includes the home, community, school, and playground.

Sensory processing occurs in each of us and refers to the way our central nervous system receives sensory messages from the environment and then processes those messages and turns them into “adaptive” motor or behavioral responses.

If you have concerns about your child’s feeding skills and swallowing abilities, we are ready to help! We will address your concerns related to feeding and swallowing, but also concerns about speech, understanding of language, expressive language, voice, fluency and stuttering, and social communication skills. We treat children with articulation, language, and social communication disorders along with feeding and swallowing delays or disorders.

Occupational therapy is concerned with a child’s ability to participate in desired daily life activities. We are excited to partner with Occupational Therapists who use their unique expertise to help children prepare for and perform important learning and developmental activities for children with and without disabilities. Occupational Therapy addresses the “occupations” of life. A child’s “occupations” may include playing age appropriately, participating in social groups or school activities, completing age-appropriate self-care routines, participating in extracurricular activities, and being a part of the family unit. Being able to participate “age appropriately” may be difficult for children with or without a disability.
